In Norse Mythology, Valhalla is where Oðin lives. To his hall go all of the most courageous warriors upon their deaths, to carouse, drink, fight, and otherwise have a good time until called upon to fight in Ragnarök, the final battle. The Valkyries, who work for Oðin, live there too.
